Founded in 2000 as Hamilton Performance Electronics (HPE), LLC, by Brennan Hamilton, the company was re-badged as GoPoint Technology, Inc in 2007. GoPoint is a technical solutions provider in the automotive aftermarket industry with engineering headquarters in Birmingham, Michigan. Offices and team members co-located in Phoenix, Arizona and Boulder, Colorado.

HPE is known for the previously-released PocketDyno/g-analyst, an automotive accessory performance meter coupled with the handheld Palm.
